Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre 27th & 28th April 2024

There has been a Medieval Fayre held within the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey for several years, with the change to using the entire abbey site in 2021 creating an event that seemingly has something new around every corner.

The event has won several awards – including Gold for Event of the Year at the 2023 Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards – and attracts thousands of visitors from across the UK and further. The show gets bigger every year and in 2024 there will be even more to see and do than in 2023.

Tickets for the event can be for the day or weekend. The main arena schedule is the same for both days and the opening times are the same for both days. The main arena features two jousts per day, the fancy dress competition, archery and projectile weaponry demonstrations and the battles.

Apart from the main arena there are have-a-go activities throughout the site, living history camps, an excellent and varied medieval market, great food and drink, medieval music and more!
