The Avalon Recorder Consort was formed in 2018 when they were asked to play at a promenade style Shakespeare production at The Bishop’s Palace in Wells, Somerset. It was a great success, received excellent reviews and they have been together ever since.
They were winners at the Highbridge Festival of Arts in the same year and have since delighted audiences at various events with their eclectic mix of music which includes music from the Early Period, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th and 21st Centuries.
